Abstract

|
In this study, the internal fitness of zirconia made by dental computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) was evaluated of internal cement space. The first molar of the maxillary right was duplicated and 15 abutments were fabricated. The abutment teeth were scanned and designed as a general coping shape. Each group was set up cement space 30(group A), 50(group B), 70(group C) ¥ìm. The final fabricated zirconia was measured by silicon replica technique and digital microscopy (¡¿140). Results were analyzed by one-way ANOVA and Tukey-post test (¥á=0.05). There was a significant difference between A and C buccal groups (p<0.05). The mean value of all the points except the distal part of group C was less than 120 ¥ìm. Although it is appropriate to apply clinically, it does not show the tendency of constant result different from set value. Therefore, further study on material and machine erroraffecting accuracy should be conducted.
